This writer is at a loss for words. Alyssa is exactly the expert I need to help me get my novel where it needs to be. She gives the kind of feedback I’ve been craving and does it in a way that doesn’t make me want to crawl under my desk and cry. She provides ideas and inspiration in a way that almost makes me think the ideas are mine, which is nice. And she gives enough positive reinforcement to keep me motivated to edit and edit again.
She gave me specific feedback and specific homework, and both of those things are exactly what I was hoping for. I know the book will be better because of her feedback (and feedback from another agent). I definitely got more than I paid for out of this consultation and hope to have more after I’ve completed my homework! 🙂

Offers Clear Steps for Improvement
I had a 10 minute query letter consultation with Larissa. I’ll admit, I wondered how much could be done in 10 minutes. Well, at the end of the meeting I had made so many notes on the letter and had great, clear, actionable steps I could take to improve it. I don’t even think Larissa represents books like mine, but she was able to hone in on the issues that she’d look for in any query letter. Delivers Efficient and Valuable Feedback
Although 10 minutes is short, Amy got right down to business and was able to fill the ten minutes with feedback on my ten pages as well as answer the three questions I prepared for her.
