Great Feedback on the Query + 10 Pages
Christina was wonderful! She gave me great actionable feedback on my query, what to lean into to make it stand out, as well as what I was doing right in my first 10 pages and what could be improved to make them stand out more. She was super helpful and really easy to talk to. I’d definitely recommend her to others!

Positive Interaction
Christina reviewed my query letter and first chapter. I was concerned how helpful this would be given the 15″. She got right into it and didn’t waste a word, which I appreciated. Her recommendations were spot on. She pointed out how I could improve my query letter. In addition she explained that the query letter needs to tie closely to the first chapter. As it was written, I provided a lot of unnecessary backstory and exposition in the first chapter.

I made the change and the novel starts with an inciting event that is reflected in the query letter. Thank you.
