First time requesting a written critique through Manuscript Academy . . . not only did I survive it, I enjoyed it! Will definitely do this again. Feedback on my PB from Molly was both encouraging and insightful, and it was super convenient to schedule when I wanted the feedback. In an industry where writers have agonizing wait periods after sending off their work, this service is a hidden gem.

From Ms. Sands, I received a mini-master class in how agents read queries and first pages–what they’re looking for and why. In the same way that writers see the world differently so, too, with agents who read and listen with editors and the book-buying public in mind. I’m surprised at how much this has affected my writing as well.
