Feedback And Reviews
Savannah was fabulous! She gave me indispensable feedback that really helped me with my story. She was very professional, but also made sure to through in kind comments to keep the feedback from feeling too overwhelming. I would highly recommend her!

Emmy was absolutely wonderful! They were kind, thoughtful, and helped me feel 100% at ease. They answered all the questions I had and didnít rush me. They exceeded my expectations. If youíre thinking about choosing Emmy for a consult, DO IT.

Fiona is a gem.
Especially if you work with MG. I sent her my query letter and immediately put her comments into play because she’s very comprehensible and concise. She explained what and why additions or subtractions were needed, smiled no matter how many times I interrupted with a question, and answered from her POV as reader and marketer. WE might hate the marketing side, but the stronger our pitches, queries, etc., the stronger our writing. Oh, and (thank goodness) Fiona laughs a lot.
If you’ve not watched her class “How To Edit Without Losing Your Voice” you really ought to because she provides a strong sense of direction and you’ll most likely feel better about what you’ve probably spent a lifetime working on–then you’ll immediately pull out an old version of your manuscript to remind yourself why you started it in the first place!
Dani Segelbaum was great. She reviewed my query letter and first ten pages and gave me great advice. I am rewriting that part of my work to her suggestions. She told me how I should set up my query to be more effective and my first ten pages to hold people’s interest. She thought the hook in the first ten pages was fine. I ran it by a couple of people, and they think it does read a lot better. They liked my first version, but like the way this reads much better. It was time and money well spent with Dani, and enjoyed our conversation. She is without question excellent at what she does and a very kind person.
Kayla was great! Her feedback on my query letter was specific, practical and encouraging. It was delightful speaking with her.

I had a query letter and first 10 pages consultation with Fiona Kenshole. Oh my gosh! It was one of ‘the best’ mentoring sessions I’ve ever experienced. What I loved about Fiona was that after she pointed something out, she gave me solid examples of how to fix it. I absorb things so much better after seeing an example, and so, by her doing this, it really helped solidify what she was teaching me. Her years of experience shined through and she delivered the advice in such a kind and caring manner. Not to mention she had me giggling over a few funny anecdotes. I’m so thankful for her advice and I simply cannot wait to apply what she taught me to my pages. I would highly recommend a mentorship session with her.

I really enjoyed my consultation with Taj. She gave me great feedback to help strengthen the world building for the opening pages of my manuscript!
Anjanette is a really lovely person! She had some very specific and very useful advice, which was great, because I needed that exact critique! Now my query letter is ready to shine.
Adriann’s suggestions for improving my query and opening pages were insightful, and delivered with clarity and kindness. I was able to get right to work on them. I’m very satisfied.
Katharine gave me a good sense of what I need to concentrate on while I revise my proposal and my book.
This was the second time I spoke with Chelsey. I feel she’s tough and generous at the same time with her feedback. She will tell you what you need to hear and accentuate the positives she has observed. That has allowed me to pickup on my mistakes and issues throughout my WIP.
My meeting with Fiona was priceless. Her insight and advice was fantastic. She spent longer than the allotted time, and I truly felt like she cared. I still canít believe I was able to meet with her one on one. Sheís a legend. Wow! Thanks for this opportunity!
