Kaitlyn is quite special! I LOVED my meeting with her!!! SheÃs one of those people whose personality radiates even before you get to talk to her. Shares Strategies for Storytelling Success
When I won the 30 minute critique and consult with an agent of my choice, I knew I would select Fiona Kenshole. I valued her place in the literary world, especially with picture books. Not only was I impressed with her constructive comments and ideas towards my work, I treasured her tips on ‘making my story funny’ and engaging for young children.

Delivers Honest and Kind Feedback
IÃve talked to several agents and all of the gave concrete feedback on the sentences of my query letter and answered my questions they have all heard a gazillion times with focus and kindness and best, with honesty. Clarifies Manuscript Strengths and Edits
Erica was very helpful in giving me specific advice, letting me know which areas in my opening pages needed clarity or needed to be reworked. Not only do I feel good about applying that advice in the opening pages, but also in looking for similar opportunities for betterment in the manuscript as a whole. She let me know my strengths, which I will carry with me and exercise as I continue to work on my craft.

I participated in a small group critique with Jessica Watterson and I was so impressed with the way she made sure to give adequate time to each writer’s query and first page, while also providing general guidance about the querying process. Jessica’s advice was thoughtful and helpful. I found myself taking lots of notes based on what she told others about their queries and pages, as well as her comments on my own.
