Expands Genre and Agent Options
Samantha’s 10-minute consultation on my query was immensely valuable. She was well-prepared, answered all of my questions, and even gave me a couple of names of agents who she thought might be interested in my WIP. Most importantly, she gave me an agent’s perspective on how I should categorize my work in terms of genre. I was being far too narrow-minded about it, and now I know I can expand my prospective agent list. I highly recommend her!

Offers Fresh Perspective on Queries
My 10-minute query consultation with Rebecca Raskin was excellent. We were both ready to go at the start time. I took plenty of notes and Rebecca gave me advice that hit the places in my query that needed work. She was encouraging, helpful, and made me see my query with new eyes. I’ve spent most of today revising it and revamping my query list. I’ve taken advantage of this energy to start a new round of queries tonight. Onward!

Believes in Writers and Their Work
I cannot heap enough praise on Katharine Sands. She deserves more than I can ever say.
First off, Katharine believes in me. Thatís a BIG thing for someone who has been on a publishing journey for a decade. Her enthusiasm and persistent cheeriness is infectious. It makes every session, no matter how brutal, a pleasure. Sheís also not afraid to tell the truth. She delicately convinced me that my opening chapter wasnít appropriate and offered several suggestions on how to fix it while educating me on what a first chapter should be. Katharine also set me up with an online writing class that vastly improved my skills. She continues to seek out further classes for me.

Recognizes and Fixes Story Issues
The discussion I had with Ms. Fountain was extremely useful and informative. She helped me recognize an issue with my YA adventure novel that I need to address and I even had fun during her feedback and suggestions. Supports Writers in Book-to-Film Adaptation
I signed up for Mr Burkhart because he seemed the most likely to give a good critique for a feature film possibility ó his comments during the #MSWL Zoom panel were pro writer and pro new content and encouraged the audience of writers to consider contributing their content in the new film-media arena.
Jonathan was very cordial and approachable during our conversation. I would book him again.

Strengthens First Pages with Clear Guidance
