Improves First Chapter with Precision
Kaitlyn was so very helpful in evaluating my first chapter! She was precise in her comments and offered several suggestions, not only to improve my Voice and Transitions, but gave me links to research sites that would also be valuable. It was obvious she wanted to include as much as possible of her responses within the time frame we had. My 10 minute query consultation with Caitlin was so helpful. I chose to meet with her because she likes fantasy and because I was impressed by her observations on the 10 Queries podcast. She was very prepared and shared her thoughts quickly and clearly. Her advice was concrete and I came away with a solid plan for strengthening my query. She managed the time very well; with my agreement she first shared her feedback and reserved 3 minutes at the end to answer my questions. Her tone was positive and encouraging. Highly recommend!

My 10-page read and 15-minute consultation with Jessica Watterson was incredibly helpful. Jessica picked out weaknesses in the pages and query that Iíd missed, and made simple, concrete suggestions for improvement. Itís great to get advice from someone with so much experience of the genre, and Jessica couldnít have been more helpful and encouraging. Having made her suggested edits, I already feel my novel is closer to being submission ready.
