I used my codes for a great feedback package with Christina Lopez!
I am at a stage with my manuscript where I needed more than a query or synopsis review. I wanted a professional opinion on my writing, too, and some input on how my three pieces fit together. Christina read my query, synopsis and first 50 pages, then gave written feedback as well as a 10 minute consultation to follow.
Her input highlighted positives as well as strands needing work that I can apply across the manuscript to get my novel submission-ready. She also gave great feedback on my plan for my current revision, encouraging me to keep going.
I am so glad I saved up my codes while I worked on the book to a point where significant professional feedback was needed.

Excellent advice from a seasoned pro.
I chose Fiona for her extraordinary range of experiences with children’s literature and also because of her history in film, which echoes my own.
This was my second session with Fiona. The first was query related. The second covered the first 10 pages of my middle grade novel. She is incredibly clear and precise about what doesn’t work for her, and what won’t work for publishers, to whom she has to sell anything she chooses to represent.
I have a very clear picture now of what I need to achieve and look forward to putting her thoughts into action, as difficult as some may be. I could not be happier with our conversation.

Delighted, Challenged and Ready to Revise
So happy with my critique. It was incredibly helpful. The feedback gave me a good grasp of what’s working and asked exactly the right questions about my worldbuilding, structure, and POV balance to help me strengthen my opening. It also gave me concrete next steps for revision and a clear understanding of how my opening reads to agents and editors. I feel encouraged and equipped to revise.

Small but Mighty!
I was able to spend a small but very valuable amount of time with Alice Speilburg this week. I had her review my query and my first 10 pages. She had some very explicit ideas for how to improve the pages of the book. I have made the changes and I believe the book is stronger already. I found her to be friendly and kind. Arrived Early–Hooray!
Samantha did a great job evaluating my query letter and synopsis and even provided a template to follow as well. I was also excited that she sent my evaluation much sooner than the due date. It was great to open my email and have good news.
I highly recommend booking Samantha for query/synopsis evaluations if you can do such. It takes the mystery out the equation!

Hallelujah for Helpful Hannah’s Hints!
Hannah Robinson gave me lots of specific suggestions and techniques to improve the memoir chapters that I need the most help with.
