I promise that this is my own work, and I am both morally and legally able to share it. I understand that submissions are chosen by the panel (one per panelist), and that if my work is chosen, I will read it aloud for the event and the podcast. I understand that, for the live event only, my query and first page will be shared on the screen (but will NOT be sent to attendees). I understand that there is some risk in sharing my work this way (including but not limited to plagiarism), though we have never heard of this happening at our events, and of course, someone would have to write the entire rest of the book to make use of my work. In this worst case and extremely unlikely scenario, I and will hold The Manuscript Academy, LLC, and its founders, faculty, assigns, sister company Manuscript Wish List®, and affiliates harmless.
