President of GH Lit Mgmt, Renee C. Fountain is a publishing industry veteran a former reviewer for Kirkus, NY Journal of Books, and spent five years with the CW Television Network as a book scout and story analyst.

During her almost decade-long tenure with major houses, Harcourt and Simon & Schuster, Ms. Fountain had the great fortune to work with some of the best writers and illustrators in the publishing world.

With more than 10 years of licensing and branding experience, she has been involved in creating book-related merchandise including iconic favorites such as Raggedy Ann and Nancy Drew; as well as brokering film and television options.

Renee is interested in developmental editing and critiquing all types of non-fiction, and most fiction, especially: YA, adult thrillers, rom-com, mystery, horror, fantasy (urban, dark, magical realism).

She is not interested in: hard sci-fi, erotica, political, religious, picture books, or middle grade.

Comes with large-scale edits (character, world, plot, tension, concept, conflict, and similar as needed) in an editorial letter and small-scale, line-by-line notes as needed (for longer critiques, an average of three per page). Work arrives in your inbox by the date on the calendar.
