Katie gave me direct and concrete feedback that, at first, I didn’t want to hear. But as I thought about it, and imagined how I could revise my opening scenes based on her feedback, I realized it was transformative. Now, although it means I have to re-write my opening again, I am confident this time it will be so much better. And the entire story will be as well.

Katie gave me great insight. My novel has complex elements with a witty edge, so she helped me see how simplifying my query would peak agent interest. Her encouraging words were extremely helpful.

Katie was great. She answered all my questions about the industry and agents’ expectations. She also gave me some fresh ideas for my blurb. I have implemented all her suggestions and am in the process of querying agents. I have more hope than ever that I will find someone to help me break into traditional publishing!

I had a fifteen minute consultation with Katie for my query letter and first ten pages. Katie was super easy to talk to, answered all my questions, and gave me positive and helpful feedback. I was so inspired after talking with her, I immediately implemented her suggestions. Thanks for a terrific experience!

This was my first time using this service through Manuscript Academy, and Katie was great. I heard comments that I already knew, but Katie confirmed my flaws. She also pointed out areas I hadn’t considered. I’m looking forward to having another session with Katie in the future. I’m always looking to improve and Iím happy with this new direction.

It was invigorating and motivating to meet with Katie Greenstreet to review my query letter. She was able to give me very specific feedback to strengthen my query letter including an ideas for a better comp and what info to add to the letter for clarity. She also was able to share her thoughts on some specific things that agents are looking for or not looking for in my genre (thriller) which was helpful as I make final decision on the structure of my manuscript. I’m so glad I met with her!

My query consultation flew by, but Katie provided some solid feedback and suggestions for tightening my query to make it even stronger. She was both encouraging and knowledgeable, and I appreciated every one of my ten minutes with her.

Zooomed an extremely productive and enjoyable fifteen minutes with Katie discussing my query letter and first ten pages. She was well prepared and told me not only how to rearrange and tighten up my letter but also some details to add in.
