Kayla Lightner
Kayla Lightner is an agent at Ayesha Pande Literary. An adventurous reader, Kayla loves stories––across adult upmarket fiction, literary fiction, and nonfiction––that can masterfully straddle the line between great storytelling and teaching her something new. In terms of taste, Kayla primarily gravitates toward speculative fiction, specifically science fiction, horror, and magical realism; Bookclub fiction with razor-sharp prose; BIPOC family sagas; compelling, well-researched narrative histories that blur the line between high-brow and low-brow; and platform-driven memoirs.
