I was born in Santa Cruz, California (which is where A Very Typical Family is set!) and have lived in many places, including Santorini, Greece, when I was a kid. I’m a technical writer for my day job, documenting cool software. I have also been a credentialed sports writer covering Spanish football for several online sports sites, and a graphic designer. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my family, which includes a dog, two cats, and a turtle, all of which seemed like a good idea at the time.
