This event is designed to give you the workshop round table experience just like an MFA–but in miniature: first pages, one night, small groups.
You’ll have the chance to submit your work for consideration by the panel. Three pages will be chosen by our faculty member; three will be drawn at random. Each gets ten minutes of feedback from the room.
Please note that by attending, you are agreeing to treat your fellow writers with kindness and respect–but respect also means telling them the truth, as kindly as you can.
You’ll have a chance to send your work week-of; the selected pages will be emailed out to everyone the morning of the event so you can read, form thoughts, and see if they match our instructor’s.
This event is open to all genres and age groups.
